Tilt Shift Photography
I just recently discovered this. Basically, by changing the tilt of the camera, you can make objects appear smaller than they actually are. Wikipedia’s take on it:
“Tilt-shift photography” refers to the use of camera movements on small- and medium-format cameras, and sometimes specifically refers to the use of tilt for selective focus, often for simulating a miniature scene. Sometimes the term is used when the shallow depth of field is simulated with digital post processing; the name may derive from the tilt-shift lens normally required when the effect is produced optically.

Cool, huh?
First Post
Well, my last blog got completely nuked. Completely and utterly. Like, no content left. And my backup of that blog isn’t even worth restoring because it’s so old. So, time to start anew.
Moral of the story: Keep better backups!
In any case, I’ve had my eye on Tumblr for a long time. I’m aiming towards a simpler interface than the super-overpowered Wordpress that I was using, and I don’t really like Posterous as much as I did. So, lets see how deep the rabbit hole goes, shall we?
